It’s interesting how gas prices going up is having a spillover effect that gets people interested in being more frugal/green in other areas as well.

We got an energy efficient air conditioner last year for our home. Compared to the years before, we not only saved substantially more money on our energy bill, but also the air conditioner kept us cooler on one of the lowest settings. We’ve also switched over to compact fluorescent light bulbs. While I don’t find their light as “comforting” as incandescents, the savings are simply worth it.
