Exposed: The Toxic Chemistry of Everyday Products

There is an overwhelming attitude of American citizens of unwavering trust in the US government to protect them from harm. Americans in general believe that all those three letter acronym government agencies exist, simply to protect the health and well being of its citizens. A new book by Mark Shapiro, Exposed: The Toxic Chemistry of Everyday Products and What’s at Stake for American Power shatters those myths and explains how the US government falls woefully behind other governments because they place the interests of corporations above that of its human beings.

  2. The government does not care about you. Like you said, major corporations really run this country, and their goal is profits and maintaining their power. Anything that they can do to further these goals while giving an illusion of caring, is what they will do.

  3. Sad, isn’t it ? The institution that’s been given power by the people and that swore to protect them, is working against the population in general. Sounds dramatic, I know, but that’s what it all gets down to.
Like with the federal income tax, the gov. is just a big bully.
Someone needs to stand up to this monster.
